Teresa Collins - Nine & Co by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Very excited to have gotten this gorgeous range to play with this month, I adore it! It is the stunning Nine & Co by Teresa Collins. I have two layouts to share with you today created with this range.

My first share, Smile, You are Loved

I snapped this photo of Lily recently just because she had her hair in a top knot, which is a style she rarely wears it in but I just thought she looked cute!  I love the mint and orange combo of the papers and the mint complimented Lilys top - and I always like to colour match!

Some close-ups. I have used a combo of Color Shine and Bloom Mists as well as some stamping to create a soft background. The complimented my layout with matching embellishments from the Nine & Co range and a cute Flair button from my personal stash.

I love the pops of gold that are in this collection, lovely foil papers and gold sequins, such fun! I have used more gold foil from the Crate Paper Notes & Things range I used last month for my title, and added a few extra embellishments in the lovely soft mint colour.

My second share for this week is: Crazy Fun, using a cute photo of Miss Lily pretending to be me, wearing my glasses.

A close up of the cute glasses sticker that is in the Nine & Co sticker sheet, with some wood veneer words from my stash, an old kaisercraft resin flower and a random gold leaf.

On this side I have used another gold foil embellishment from Crate Paper, and the cute hearts are from the Nine & Co sticker sheet. I've finished off with a little more gold - this time from some Heidi Swapp stickers amongst some splashes of white paint.

Thanks for stopping by,
till next week

Fiona

Fancy Pants "True Friend" & Kaisercraft "Tropical Punch" By Linda Eggleton

Hello there everyone :)

Today I have my first layout to share for November, using one of
Fancy Pants new collections - True Friend...which is a bright, fun collection!  It comes with a variety of stickers, flair buttons, a gorgeous little pack of cute ephemera...and also 2 different coloured 12x12 corrugated cardboard sheets.

"Good Times"

I've used one of the plainer papers for my background piece (the reverse side of "Bond") & have had a bit of a play with stencils, stamping & some colouring with my Gelatos....and I've also added some random torn strips of washi tape around the outer edges of the page, as well as around the edges of the paper layers under the photo.

There is a really fun set of Flairs that comes with this collection and they are a little bit bigger than your average flair button, which I found nice for a change.  Here you can see a gorgeous piece of 2Crafty chipboard - Funky Heart Swirls, which I have coloured with a grey gelato.

I have added another of the 2Crafty Funky Heart Swirls in the cluster at the top right of my photo...as well as a Sharon's Butterfly (I love these & they are a great staple chipboard piece to have in your stash!)....and some of the fun little stickers from both the Label Sticker sheet & Fundamentals sticker sheet.

The bright orange alphas are from the large alpha sticker sheet....and I've used a small strip of the black corrugated cardboard running in under my photo - the texture these add to the page is fantastic!

Here you can see a bit of the stencil & stamping work.
I've used 2 different stencils with modelling paste....then stamped over the top with KC Honeycombe stamp & black archival ink, and then coloured with a few different coloured gelatos mixed with water

And here is a bit of a close up of the photo area of the page.

Next I have a few of my Kaisercraft DT projects to share using the gorgeous
"Tropical Punch" collection....which is nothing short of bright, summery & fun!

"Sweet Bliss"

I've added some stencil work using Kaisercraft Lattice template with modelling paste on the background and have layered a few papers in under the photos....which were not taken by me, they are from a recipe website.

Lots of Collectables pieces around the page...and also some paper blooms to form a small cluster.

More collectables pieces to form the title and a few cute little butterflies.

The doily is from the Collectables pack also...and I've cut it in half & used it in 2 separate positions on the page. Journaling is on one of the cute little journal spots from the Collectables pack.

Another Collectables piece...the little banner at the top & I've also added a few heart stickers on top, from the Sticker Sheet.

Kaisercraft Off the Wall by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Well we are definitely racing through the months this year, November already!! The good thing is, a new month means new products to play with, and this week I have the fantastic new Kaisercraft range, Off the Wall to share with you. Very cool, with lots of blues, greys and black!

Today's layout is titled "You & Me" and is my new favourite photo of Zane and I, taken a couple of weeks ago when he made his first Communion. The blues & blacks in my dress and the white & grey from Zane's shirt and tie, go together perfectly with this collection.

The funky background I have created using gelatos and some stamping  - I will be teaching this technique at the All About Scrapbooks crop day this coming Saturday!

Here is a different view of my layout:

Don't you just love the stars? These are a die-cut in the Kaisercraft Off the Wall range, and I have just cut it up to tuck under my photo. I love how striking black can be on a coloured background.

Now onto some close-ups.

I've used the cool transparencies that come with this range and tucked that under some paper layers. Then I have co-ordinated it with an arrow from the collectibles pack, a viewfinder from kaisercrafts Mister Fox collectibles pack, a camera from the Simple Stories DIY collection and a Flutterby flair button!

And on the other side, a matching viewfinder and collectibles arrow, with a sticker from the elements sheet over the top and finished with a wood veneer heart, that I have inked in black.

And my final close-up, my title made of up some Jillibean words and alphabeans! This months collection also comes with some cool enamel dots which you can see on the bottom left of this close-up. Love enamel dots!

Thanks for stopping by today, be sure to check out this awesome range in store!

Till next week

WRMK Indian Summer & Kaisercraft North Pole - By Linda Eggleton

Hi everyone...can you believe that another month has just slipped by?!?!
Only 2 months left for the year! :-/  Eeeeek!

I am back again to share one last layout using this amazing
collection from WRMK - Indian Summer

I really wish I would have had more time this month to create more layouts with this one....but unfortunately, it's been a super busy month...so I'll have to save some for a rainy day :)

"The Great Australian Wind Catcher"

I have used mostly plain papers for this layout....with the main layered area under the photo being all cards & frames from the albums made easy journal card pack.  It is amazing how quick a page comes together when using pieces such as these...it's just a matter of choosing a few cards, and shuffling them around until you are happy with the layout...and presto - you're done!

I really love these embossed feather stickers and I've included them in my cluster of
Petaloo & MH flowers.

Another of the embossed stickers is this cute little butterfly.  It is really hard to see the definition in the embossing here, but IRL it is quite prominent & they look great, adding a touch of definition into the page.

This wooden tag....is actually REAL wood....and it is g.o.r.g.e.o.u.s!
At first I thought I would struggle with the size of it , but it fell into place quite easily & now I don't think it is too big at all :)

I've used a few of the different sized journal card pieces & frames, layering them under & over each other to create a random stepped effect in behind the photo.

My pic is of a windmill not far from where I live....taken for one of my photo a day prompts earlier in the year.  I love that where I live, these windmills are scattered across the rural landscape...they are literally everywhere <3

Next up I have a few of my Kaisercraft DT projects using another
Christmas collection - North Pole

This is a fun collection, with quite a few non-traditional colours...which I love!
I have created 2 layouts....one is Christmas themed and the other is from our holiday to Ireland last year, so this is quite a versatile collection and would be suited for other layouts besides Christmas :))

"Dreaming of a White Christmas"

As the North Pole name suggests - the colours are well suited for snow themed Christmas layouts.
The photo I've used is not actually a photo....it is an image from an e-card, so was not taken by me.
I have always dreamt of having a White Christmas, so I thought this paper collection was perfect to document that dream :)
I've used the gorgeous Snowflakes paper for the background, with those
awesome faux stitched chevrons!

My cluster has a few paperblooms, Collectables pieces & also some stickers from the sticker sheet.
I've also added a few spirals from the stems of the paper blooms

I have layered a variety of papers in under the photo & also some Collectables pieces as well.

These baubles are gorgeous pieces from the Collectables pack.
I love delving into each paper collections Collectables pack...it is quite literally, just like Chrismtas!
They are always filled with a HEAP of fabulous pieces....in all different shapes & sizes.

I have added my journaling to the back of a tag & it slips just in under the photo.

There is also some mesh tape around the edges of my paper layers for a bit of added texture.

Kaisercraft Products:  Snowflakes P1632, Toboggan P1637, Paper Pad PP950, Collectables CT807, Sticker Sheet SS257, Sage Paper Blooms F632, Iceburg Paper Blooms F630, Fire Red Paper Blooms F664, White Lace EM926, White alpha Stickers AS252, Black Ink Pad IP719,
Paper Bloom wire stems.
Other:  Mesh Tape

Next up is a non-Christmas layout....
"Kinsale Harbour"

I thought the colours in this collection well suited the colours of the amazing Kinsale Harbour.
So again, a few simple layers in under the photo, using papers & collectables pieces...plust some Kaisercraft printed tape.

Another cluster with paper blooms, Collectables & some 2Crafty Chipboard - Summer Leaf Stems

Here you can see where I've used a few Collectables pieces layered in with the papers...and there's also a bit of light stamping on the background using KC Grid stamp.

More Collectables & stickers to form a little cluster at the bottom of the page.

Kaisercraft Products:  Toboggan P1637, Candy Cane P1634, Elves P1636, Paper Pad PP950, Collectables CT807. Sticker Sheet SS257, Coconut Paper Bloom F627, Sea Breeze Paper Bloom F631, Fire Red Paper Bloom F664, Fire Red Mini Paper Blooms F669, Red Alpha Stickers AS258, Sea Breeze Alpha Stickers AS255, Arrows Printed Tape PT212, Tiny Dots Stamp CS151, Grid Stamp CS755, Black Ink Pad IP719

Other: 2Crafty Chipboard, Fabric Buttons, Gesso, Mist

And last, but not least....a couple of Christmas cards....

Layering a few papers, Collectables, Stickers & pieces from the Paper Pad for both cards.
And I've lined the envelopes with a piece from the paper pad as well, just to finish it all off nicely.

Kaisercraft Products: Candy Cane P1634, Skate P1638, Paper Pad PP950, Collectables CT807, Sticker Sheet SS257, Black Ink Pad IP719

Other:  Paper Doily

Thanks so much for dropping by today...I hope you have been inspired
by these fab collection....xx

Kaisercraft Rustic Harmony Collection by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Last share for the month today!! This week I am using another of the new Kaisercraft releases; Rustic Harmony. Very pretty, romantic style of paper and embellishments in this collection. It is just lovely and would suit vintage style photos and black and white photos perfectly!

For my layout Cherished Moment I have used a colour photo, but with very soft, neutral colours in it to suit the subdued colours in this range:

To create a soft romantic style of layout I have used lots of doilies, layers and tearing. As always with Kaisercraft the collectibles are just wonderful to use and such a variety - butterflies, doilies, tags, journaling posts, tabs - so, so much!! I've also used some lovely Kaisercraft roses - the flowers match the papers perfectly.

The right hand side of my layout compliments the left with doilies, butterflies and more little journaling bits. I have a little tag on the end that pulls out with the story behind the photo.

My final close-up shows my 2Crafty title which I have inked to match the green tones in the papers. You can also see the layering of doilies and collectibles embellishments between my paper layers. I have finished off with some light splashes of white paint.

Thanks for stopping by, till next week
Fiona
