Jolly Christmas Fun
Vicki Boutin Wrapped In Ribbons
Kel Moore

Hey Scrappy People, It's Kel back today to share another Christmas Page using
 Vicki Boutin Wrapped in Ribbons.

I love the pop of black in this collection, I think it really sets off the traditional red and greens.

 Have a look....

Jolly Christmas Fun

I used one of the more subtle papers as my background then added some ink through a
stencil onto some white cardstock attaching it to the centre of my page. I added the
striped patterned paper offset underneath it to add more colour to my page.

I used a frame from the ephemera pack to frame my photo then offeset some patterned
papers under my photo to give the photo more presence on the page. I also used a
foam sticker at the bottom of my photo.

Under my photo I used these stars from the sticker book, using foam tape for the middle
star to add more dimension.

For the title I used the word 'Christmas' from the foam stickers, then used the thickers
from the collection for the rest of my title. I love the gold on these black letters, they
 are really fun!

I added some holly from the ephemera packs to the top left and bottom right of my page,
helping to create balance to the page.

I hope you have been inspired to get some Christmas crafting in and you check out this
 collection in the store.

 I love it!

Till next time..

Kel

Beep Beep Vroom Vroom
with Echo Park Little Boy
by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

Back this week with a layout to document my daughter recently successfully getting her P plates:

Beep Beep Vroom Vroom

For this layout I chose a traditional "boy" paper - because I loved the cute cars! I teamed this up with the super cute set from 2Crafty Cars set and added some flowers in matching colours.

Firstly I wanted a subtle background and to extend the star pattern on the patterned papers. I used the plastic bag technique to apply my blue - mixing too of the distress oxides to create the blue I wanted. Next I used a regular ink to add some stars through a Vicki Boutin mask.

The flowers are a mix of Green Tara and Uniquely Creative - I've also added a 2Crafty Chipboard star to each cluster.

The cute little car I painted white to match my daughters car. This second part of the title inked in red rose ink, the other in Royal Blue.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Fiona
